1951 MG YA 1 and a quarter litre saloon

On a personal note, a vehicle of this type was our first family car, purchased in the mid to late 1950s, in my pre teen days.
It was black and had the registration ZE 4086.
I remember it had an 8 gallon fuel tank, and that it cost £1 to fill the tank; Petrol was 2/6 a gallon, which is what - about 14p?
Happy days....
