HFF Aylestone Leicester 16th October 2009
Autumn at Parson's Bridge over the canalised River Soar in Aylestone. It looks lost in the countryside but in fact is well within the city of Leicester. This was not always the case and when the canal was built in the late 18th century Aylestone was a small village 3 miles from Leicester.

Beautiful brick work LG and I love the reflections of the water. So many villages has become part of nearby towns now. Hopefully they retain some of their typical village homes and buildings though. A beautiful shot. HFF and a good weekend.
