Thanks Don. It's a demonstration freight on our preserved line so it's recreating the not-too-distant past when brake vans/cabooses were normal.

Is there anything in this shot that dates it to 2015? It looks so totally authentic. The fresh, clean state of the ground signal is maybe a slight clue that it's not BR infrastructure but, other than that, and the clean yellow panel on the loco, this could easily be the late-1960s. The long lens has maybe made the track appear poorer than it actually is but there were many branches in Central Scotland that looked worse than this in the 1960s/70s. Nicely done.
