The top of the column

Ruskin Buildings, 179 - 203 Corporation St, Birmingham. Completed in 1899 to the design of Ewan Harper. There are 13 bays mainly with buff terracotta ornamentation, and red terracotta columns to the ground floor shop units and central entrance, and this is the top of one of the columns. The Grade II listed building was restored in 2000, the replacement terracotta being provided by Ibstock Hathernware.
