Hanley Stadium
At the end of what was Robson Street stands the forlorn remains of the entrance to the Hanley greyhound and speedway stadium. Greyhound racing began here in 1928 and was followed the next year by speedway. In 1963 the site was sold to a garage and the last racing took place in October of that year.
