Copper Mine
The Gallantry Bank copper mine produced very little ore. The final developments in the nineteenth century included an engine shaft and associated machinery. The significant remains comprise the top sections of the stone lined shaft and the adjacent sandstone chimney which includes a datestone of 1856. It is not thought that the mine worked after 1857.
