Passing Anderton
Flat caps are prominent as 'Spey No.88' passes the Anderton boatlift on the Trent & Mersey Canal with two dodgy characters on the counter. The exhaust from the Bolinder engine provides the obligatory blue haze over proceedings.
The paint job is new and thanks to Tony Lewery who came out of retirement to make the old girl look good again. He last painted the Spey in 1976.
