Llynclys Quarry
Llynclys Quarry is located 3.5 miles south-west of Oswestry. The quarry is owned and operated by Lafarge Aggregates Ltd and works Lower Carboniferous limestone which is crushed to produce roadstone. Some of the limestone is also rich in magnesium and is used as an agricultural magnesian lime for spreading on pasture fields.
