Guilty Pleasure
Van het album ‘Can’t stop the Classics – Hooked on Classics 2’: www.youtube.com/watch?v=URqqfBvu47A

In 1981 the Dutch studio project Stars on 45 had various smash hits around the world with their disco medleys. Pieces of well known songs by the Beatles, Abba, Stevie Wonder and the Rolling Stones and many others were hooked together with an underlying discobeat.
Under the disguise of ‘better well pinched than badly devised’ the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Louis Clark came up with the same thing: they hooked well known pieces classical music together with a discobeat. This series was named ‘Hooked on Classics’and became very infamous under music lovers of all kind. However, the English queen did not disapprove: the orchestra could keep the title ‘royal’ and Louis Clark was knighted.
So from the second album ‘Can’t stop the Classics – Hooked on Classics 2’:
