Saturday Self Challenge: Nabewerking

– – –
On the photo the Nieuwe Vaart with on the background the windmill ‘De Gooijer’, framed in the railing of the bridge. Taken early in the morning.
Left on the photo straight from the camera (although cropped to the ration 4:5). The second photo is after processing in Lightroom. Changed some sliders, white balance, added a radial filter above the trees left because it was a little too light there. In the lower corner right added a (negative) neutral density filter to add some light. The third photo is the same but the number of colours reduced to four, the last has been reduced to two colours.

Saturday Self Challenge: Post processing

As this was taken in the early morning and it is a recreation of an original by Cat Stevens: Morning has broken by Frida (from Abba) – www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpHgG2ktQw8

Very much like all of these versions, Diederik. Fascinating and inspirational to see all the different results that can be achieved. I have been thinking about using "Morning Has Broken" by Cat Stevens :-) I know there are a few alternate versions of this classic song but I hadn't heard the version by Frida........until now :-) Like it!

Showing your various editing results as a collage is a great idea. The dirst LR colour edit and the contrasty bw are my favourites.
