It is a dangerous world out there! The headlines are full of violence and hate crimes. Paranoid citizens are stockpiling weapons and barricading themselves behind fortress-like residences. It is a lethal risk just shopping at the mall or enjoying a drink at the local club.
That is why I have hired security to accompany me when I must leave my residential stronghold. So far, I have experienced no problems. In fact, merchants quickly agree to my request for a senior discount!

For a brief period of time in the late 1800s Mormon settlers attempted to eke out a living in this inhospitable but beautiful terrain, eventually abandoning their homestead to the harsh elements.
