Recorded Time
People record time by measured units so as to chronicle its passage. Certain events such as a New Year are observed and celebrated by much of mankind. Nature also keeps a record of time, chronicling its passage in the layers of rock, the rings of trees and many other methods as the seasons come and go.
However it is recorded, time marches relentlessly onward into the future.
This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75 lens with a Zenza Bronica 82mm L 1A filter using Fuji 160NS film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
However it is recorded, time marches relentlessly onward into the future.
