Tule Elk Reserve
Introduced back into the Tomales Point Region of the Point Reyes National Seashore in the 1970s, Tule elk have prospered.
Shooting these protected animals is prohibited (except by cameras).
This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated Macro-Takumar/6X7 1:4/135mm lens using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
