Needle Sharp

Needle Sharp
A wise photographer once told me, the quality of a lens can be tested by whether an image of a Nopal/Prickly Pear cactus needle is sharp enough to draw blood!
Ouch!!!

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and KOWA LENS-S 1:3.5/150mm lens using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

The direct sunlight and great focusing ability of an eye-level 45º prism finder are to thank as well as the 150mm lens for this sharp image.
