Lactarius rufus
This little group of fungi was seen at West Bragg Creek, Kananaskis, during a Fungi Foray on 24 August 2013. Seems so long ago, now that our ground is covered in snow. Some of the ice and snow is melting, as we are enjoying wonderfully mild (comparatively), sunny weather at the moment. The next few days are supposed to be mild, too, which will be great.

I don't know if you've gotten the chance to see British Soldiers Lichen before but I have some pictures today! Worth a look for us Fungus and Lichen Fanatics! :D
