From the grocery store
This capture serves as a reminder to myself never to buy a different kind of mushroom from Safeway and cook them. Bought this small packet of mushrooms just to photograph, but then felt a bit guilty at the thought of wasting them. So, after they'd been sliced and fried, I added them to an omelet. Never again, lol! Their texture was so slimy, I almost gagged on every mouthful I took - and then I just had to give up! So, I will enjoy them simply by admiring the beautiful gills and curves : ) I prefer fungi when they are in their natural setting, anyway. Taken on 7 April 2012.
