Curious Coyote
This is a photo I managed to quickly take of a beautiful Coyote as it stopped and turned to look back at the road, as Coyotes seem to do, before quickly disappearing further into the distance (heavily cropped photo). Taken on my second ever drive NW of Cochrane (NW of Calgary), along Grand Valley Road, hoping that I might just come across a Great Grey Owl - no luck. A bit further along the road, a Red Fox ran across the road, but no chance to grab my camera. Lovely to see, though.
