Lace curtains of winter
It's always a strange feeling to peer through the trees when every tiny branch is snow-covered. So beautiful. Took this later yesterday afternooon, when I was desperate for a short break to give my painful hand a rest from mouse-clicking. I didn't dare walk away from the car to take a photo, as this particular back road was a solid sheet of ice with a fine dusting of snow here and there. Taken just west of the city, just off highway 22X.
