Happy Christmas, everyone!
Christmas bling
They're baaack ...
In gentle folds
Orange burst
Around the Nanton area
Up close
Great Horned Owl
Softness
Purple Columbine
All in the name of birding
A rural cutie
A prickly glow
My hearts belong to you
A delightful little book
Happy New Year, everyone!
Little red barn
White-tipped
Transformation
I love bright jackets
My thoughts turn to spring
Survival of the fittest
Like miniature pine trees
Christmas magic a long time ago
Let the imagination fly
Cute kitty
Two against one
Delicate folds
Smiling in the snow
Those water droplets again
Norwegian Fjord horse
Bow River at Canmore
Flickr Front Page
Peruvian Lilies
Sunlit peak
The innerworks of a Christmas Cactus
Very rare shell, perhaps
Rutting season
Happy Christmas, everyone!
Cracks and wrinkles
He looks so sweet and cuddly ... no?
Pink Powder Puff
Jack Frost was keeping busy
Iron Pyrites striations
White on blue

Santa, Inukshuk style
This will look very familiar to a few of my friends, who have also come across this Inukshuk east of the city.
"Inukshuk, the singular of inuksuit, means "in the likeness of a human" in the Inuit language. They are monuments made of unworked stones that are used by the Inuit for communication and survival. The traditional meaning of the inukshuk is "Someone was here" or "You are on the right path."" From
