Just in case anyone wondered if I'd drowned today, I thought I'd upload this tonight instead of making it one of my "daily three" tomorrow, LOL. What an amazing experience I had; two and a half hours of canoeing from Bowness Park downstream to the Calgary Zoo!!! I was surprised that I didn't feel nervous - partly, perhaps, because I could see the bottom of the river some of the time, but also because my friend is an experienced canoeist (her husband, too) : ) The weather was as perfect as it could have been today. Thank you SOOO much, Lynn, for making this dream come true! I so much appreciated all the trouble you went to, and also your expertize which made me feel so safe. What a fun, fun trip - of a lifetime, for me!
