Osprey with fish
Uncommon in Alberta from April to September. I just happen to have one living in a park I walk in sometimes. I was so happy to see it yesterday, perched near the top of this dead tree, right next to one of the busiest roads in the city. I've had to crop my photo, but at least you can see that it has a fish in its talons. This is the first half-decent photo I've ever been able to get of an Osprey. Quite impressive birds!
