But the snail shell maybe is not up to Shell standards, nevertheless could be a welcome find underwater.

A beautiful collection of colourful shells Annemarie. Despite the damage, the shell in the main image is still quite lovely and well worth keeping! I especially like the two striped shells in the top left of the PiP.

Despite the broken bits, this shell is gorgeous and well-worth saving in your collection! I'm so glad you featured it as your main image, it's just marvelous. :) I also loved your inset though, the different shells are so cool and colorful. :) (HAHAHAH, I just read Keith's comment...he and I are so much alike we often type very similar comments...it's so funny!)

Did you find these shells on your adventures? They are really neat and to be honest, I am going to start a shell collection beginning on our next RV trip, which will take us out to the Oregon coast. I hope I will find some shells worth saving! :)

Yse, this are mainly collected in the Indian ocean, years ago........
some of them I even not remember where ( in Mafia, Tanzania....and elsewhere), but together with marine shells I have a little basket flu of such marvels.
I hope the Oregon coast will be generous to you:)
