"Boulder to Birmingham"
"Boulder to Birmingham" was written by Emmylou Harris and Bill Danoff and features on Emmy's 1975 album "Pieces of the Sky". Bill Danoff was married to Taffy Nivert and together with John Denver they wrote "Take Me Home Country Roads". Bill Danoff & Taffy NIvert were also members of the Starland Vocal Band and they recorded "Boulder to Birmingham" as well.
I hope you are following me thus far :-)
My photo was taken in the grounds of Nuffield College in Oxford. "Boulder to Birmingham" is one of my all-time favourite tracks by Emmylou and as there is a 'Boulder' in my photo I think this should be my 'Sight and Sound' link :-)
I also found, on YouTube, a 1977 live performance of "Boulder to Birmingham" by the Starland Vocal Band so a link to this is included :-)
I'll stop now :-)
