"Oxford Open Doors 2014"

As I said previously last weekend was "Open Doors 2014" in Oxford and I 'wos' goin' around a bit like a headless chicken 'cos I didn't know where to visit next :-)

I have checked and double-checked and I am sure I am certain this is Oriel College Dining Hall :-))

I don't know who the guy is in the frame. I also don't have any information on the heraldic...religious...stained glass and, so far, I haven't been able to extract any information by searching the Internet :-(

I was pleased how my little 'ole Coolpix handled the light here :-)

Possibly better to view on black :-)

that stained glass is awesome, look at your coolpix and see if there is a 'museum' setting.. it's a hot~dog of a setting, works in just about any low~light without a flash.. it never gives a reflection on glass!

I have one similar to this, only mine is almost 2 years old... I love it..I carry it in my purse. It's a great little 'pocket' camera... (although too big for a pocket)

Thank you very much, Wendi. I will definitely be checking to see if there is a 'museum' setting! And, thanks for the link.....Nikon always turn out great cameras and the Coolpix range is clearly no exception :-)
