The bug on the wonga pod

The bug on the wonga pod
The wonga wonga vine has finished flowering and now has set seed pods. I found this bug (since identified as a Green Vegetable Bug - see thread) sitting on one.

Thank you for your kind comments and faves, my friends. I was intrigued that I could not find this listed among the native bugs, but Pam J has kindly identified it - I am fairly certain correctly - as a Green Vegetable Bug. It seems these are an imported pest: preview.tinyurl.com/mzrx9zq . Well, at least it was photogenic. :)
