It's unfortunate to see this disaster after fires and fire depart.

It's hard to explain, but this photo (and the others in the set) are sad, and yet they're beautiful in their own way. Please keep up with this hillside and try to document the "regrowth" of the area. When I was very young, I remember a fire burning a field "to a crisp" as the expression is around here. Amazingly, within a few months everything was green again. Naturally, there were no tall trees- just small bushes and trees sprouting- but I was amazed that something so devastating wasn't permanent at all. It would be interesting to me (maybe I'm just easily entertained) to see just how quickly it all comes back. Great photos!

And I'm still planning on making Ipernity my permanent home, but the app for transferring entire sets from Flickr to Ipernity seems to be broken since Flickr made the recent changes. Version 1.5 of the Album Importer no longer works. I have some 90,000 photos on Flickr and I'd like to transfer them logically by sets. Until the Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey set importer is fixed, I'm in a holding pattern. It's far easier for me to upload to Flickr (because of their apps), but my real goal is to get everything imported over to here. Thanks again for your great work!
