Bee Fly Cleaning its Eyes and Proboscis!

Bee Fly Cleaning its Eyes and Proboscis!
Such a relaxed fly! It definitely knew I was there (um, how could anything with compound eyes miss a camera waving around in its face?! :D) but it didn't seem to care. It let me take all the pictures I wanted to, and actually began cleaning itself while I watched and took pictures! Despite the ridiculously windy conditions, this picture turned out great!! :D AMAZING!!

Perfect shot! Somehow the fly and the plant go well together......both hairy!

As Eunice Perkins said, I love how fly and flower both need a shave.
