On My Way Home: Sunset at 35,000 Feet!
(for those of you who are interested in seeing my San Francisco trip images, I have uploaded 14 pictures in this batch [259 in the past month]. Thanks everyone for your comments and your visits to my photostream! I hope you enjoy the show!) (Oh, and yes, I know there are really too many pictures to be uploading at one time but I have too many images I want to put into my Flickr stream so it just can't be helped!)
The end of my San Francisco trip is this image looking out my window at 30,000 feet and being completely blown away by this amazing sunset. I didn't capture any of the amazing qualities but even still, you can see some of the colors, along with the blur and silhouette of the propeller! I had such a fantastic trip...I ended up processing 259 pictures of the 1,000 I came home with. Not a bad ratio! This trip certainly helped me learn a little more about photography, and I got some really fantastic images that I'm really proud of. I hope that those of you who've visited through out my SF adventure enjoyed the images!! Thanks so much for your encouragement and favorites!!
By the way, for those of you who may not know, there is a very fun, free Flickr competition site which you might like to take part in. It's called FlickrDuel and features dozens of ongoing competitions, or duels every day. You can enter your pictures into many different categories and vote on contests too. It's another way to enjoy your photography!
This image was taken during my trip to San Francisco during September 12-15, 2011.
