A major silver-lead (with minor gold and zinc) camp in northern Nye County, active from the late 19th century into the 1930s, with intermittent activity continuing up to the present.

Still cable on the drum, even as the building falls down around it-- Tybo Mine, Tybo, Nevada.

Looks like the hoist was powered with a diesel. Tybo, Nevada. Interestingly, a high-voltage line that looks operational still runs to Tybo. I don't know if they were planning on electrifying the mine.
