A prehistoric fish?
Guarding the trail on the left! Off the Needle Rock trail, in the Painted Hills north of Reno. Looking southeast; Pyramid Lake in the background. We're just off the Rez here; in fact, we bought a permit from the tribe so we could park where we did!

ANDY !!! ... Time for bed!!!
Diane Putnam club has replied to Andy Rodker clubAs for the falls, there aren't any. There were minor ones a few decades ago, but they were more like rapids at the head of the Klamath River. The federal land and water reclamation people (or, whatever that's called) knocked them down to "manage" the water in the Klamath Basin region. They rearranged topography all over the place in some major ways. It's complicated. That's all I know and I'm pretty sketchy on the topic.

Happy new week:)
