To the put-in point
Starting the float trip from below Hoover Dam down the Colorado River. The river gradually bloats out into Lake Mohave, which is backed up by Davis Dam downstream. The take-out point is Willow Beach on the Arizona side, about 14 river miles. The air temperature was around 110 F (40 C)--you wanted to be on--or in--the water! Arizona (on the left)-Nevada (on the right), USA. Map location approximate, as per usual.
