Enjoying the Mountain Top View, In A Joyless Sort of Way

This is a Glass Plate Negative purchased in East Middlebury, Vermont.
I don't remember suggesting this topic - but I probably had something in mind from my collection. Forgotten what it was now - so here's this one!
As often happens, by the time it comes around I've completely forgotten what prompted my suggestion - and have to look for something new.
Then, generally, after a few weeks the original will pop up again - and I'll either be pleased that I chose a new one - or annoyed that I passed up the perfect choice.

Yes, very familiar! I spent an hour or two looking for a specific photo that I knew would be great for this theme. I remember coming across it a week or two ago, but it was no where to be found yesterday when I was hunting for it. Now that I've posted a different photo in its place, I'm sure that the one I was seeking will rise to the surface in another day or two. 8-)
