General Motors Parade Of Progress Futurliners

Only 12 were made for a traveling science exposition.
They were originally built 1939-40 and then remodeled in 1953.

I saw these two in Illinois in the mid 1990s.
The red one is Futurliner #3 and is fully restored now.

They are in sad shape, but a restored one (not one of these two) sold at auction here near Phoenix, Arizona for more than 4.3 million dollars. : O
