Colditz 2015
Colditz is a town in Saxony, Germany. It is famous for its large castle. Work on Colditz Castle was started in 1083 AD. During the Second World War it was a prisoner-of-war camp for officers who attempted several escapes from other camps. In the 1970s a successful television series was made about it. They used Stirling Castle as a backdrop, as Colditz was then in the GDR.
