Many of the American soldiers came from farming background, so they took to horse riding in France when they encountered horses who were willing to help in the liberation.

Painted with the markings of the plane of Major David H. Dewhurst Jr. who flew the last bombing run over the German defences at Utah Beach just before the invasion started.

Utah Beach museum 2014 – Stay on the ball
Sign for the Red Ball Highway, a dedicated supply line for the invasion forces during their campaign in France. The road was banned for other traffic.
