Lucca 2024 – Chiesa dei Santi Giovanni e Reparata – Graffiti from the 12th century

The Church of Saint John and Saint Reparata dates from the 8th century, but there has been later changes. Napoleon turned this church into an archive, but in 1828 it was turned back into a church again. The interior was largely removed during that time.
