Bergen 2015 – Mundaneum – Telephone
The Mundaneum was originally created in 1910 by Paul Otlet and Henri La Fontaine. They aimed to collect all the knowledge in the world and classify it according to the Universal Decimal Classification, which they developed. Otlet thought this knowledge would be available for everybody in their own homes.
