It was put out of service in 1994. It lay at the Noord Hinder bank, about halfway between Zeeland and Britain. Later it was moved to the position Texel.

When it was foggy, the ship sounded its mist horn constantly too, but I don't think that there were many neighbours out in the North Sea.
