The Hague – Hartogstraat
Named after Eric II, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg. Duke is hertog in Dutch and hertog became hartog. Eric II lived in a house on the corner of this alley (not in the picture).
To the right the wall of the garden of the house that was later built on the same spot. It is today known as Johan de Witt House, because Johan de Witt lived there.
