View of the Green Heart
Between the four major cities in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht) there is a piece of land that is so low and swampy that is quite empty. Only green fields (hence the name), cows and big skies.
On the left you can see the A12 motorway, which runs from The Hague to the German border at Arnhem. There it becomes the A3 Autobahn, which runs diagonally across Germany to Passau on the Austrian border.
