Roman Temple

The temple was discovered in the 1950s during the expansion of the City Hall. Its construction began during the reign of the emperor Claudius (41-54 AD) and ended some forty years later, during the reign of the emperor Domitian (81-96 AD). Some changes were made to it in the 2nd century, reforms that coincide with the relocation of the colonial forum.
