Yes it does, in order to have a ~Roy~ crop stuck on it. I'm just saving him the bother.

The mast cuts the picture in half. This could be avoided with a lot more south and east and a teeny bit north.

I don't see that. The mast is at a sufficient angle not to cut the picture in half, especially as it forms a unit with its diagonal stabilising struts.

I have a made-up word, Faveton, for a picture which has received 100 or more "faves" on Flickr, and this (whether it deserves to be or not) is one. I currently have 284 Favetons. My having 4,005 pictures on Flickr, these however represent only 7 percent of the total.

Without sufficient foreground, my eyes are diverted away from the boat and upwards to the mast, which cuts my vision in half, so that I find it uncomfortable to look at.

It's a bit like sitting on a bus with a post directly in front of me:
something I try to avoid whenever possible.

Even a First Class post, presumably.

As well you didn't marry The King, because he's a royal male.

What are you jibbering on about?
I have no interest in a WEF king who promotes climate alarmism.

Howard Somerville club has replied to Isisbridge club
1. Plain sailing, I'd have said.
2. If you'd married him, you could (and I'm sure would) have converted him into an isolationist climate-change denier.

Isisbridge club has replied to Howard Somerville club
Why on earth would I want to convert him into isolationism or climate change demial?
Climate change is real, but the idea that it's caused by excess CO2 is a scam that's being promoted by the WEF to further their evil plan to destroy nations and control us all under one-world technocratic government.

Why on Earth? Because that's where you both live and are likely to live out your days. On the Moon or Mars you might have no reason to.

Whether on earth or palace carpets, I don't know why you would think I'd want to convert him to isolationism. I've never expressed any support for that. Or for King Charles.

Do we get any answer to this right royal mystery?

Sorry, but I don't personally know The King or exactly what he stands for.

He's a dangerous WEF supporter, who promotes climate alarmism.
You don't have to know him personally to know that.

There's no connection between climate change and pandemics, but what Charles thinks, now that he's king, is unimportant because he cannot say it in public or try to influence govermnent policy.
Isisbridge club has replied to Howard Somerville club
There's an undeniable connection between pandemics and the climate change agenda, because both are being promoted by the globalists as part of their evil plan to destroy our civilisation and replace it with one-world communist government by the technocratic elite.
(The mass immigration that we're currently witnessing is also part of their plan.)

As for Charles, he does still spew his climate nonsense in public, even now that he's king.
He addressed the Cop28 climate summit last December, and joined with Sad IQ Khan to unveil a national "climate clock".

I don't know enough about climate science, the WEF, the Cop28 and their agendas or motives to comment either way. But what I do know is that the UK going carbon-neutral, even if achievable, will be economically costly, environmentally destructive (solar farms, pylons and hideous wind turbines) and will make negligible difference to total global man-made carbon emissions or climate change.

Isisbridge club has replied to Howard Somerville club
Economically costly? Maybe that is part of their plan to bring down western civilisation.

You're right that the UK's actions will make little difference to total global emissions. But the point is that we shouldn't want to reduce carbon emissions in the first place, because CO2 levels are currently on the low side. CO2 is the food of life and we need more of it to green the world.

More CO2 please!
