I have happy memories of coming here with a friend when we were both fifteen.
No-one else about: just walked in on our own and really got the feel of the place.
2. I'm surprised that you didn't get arrows fired at you from the battlements, or worse, that you and your friend weren't captured by a knight, dragged into the castle and taken advantage of. That happened a lot in the olden days.
