Loose Chippings, Gloucestershire

Loose Chippings, Gloucestershire
Loose Chippings is the last unspoiled village in the Cotswolds, and has no parked cars, art galleries, antique shops, souvenir shops, restaurants, tea shops, hotels, houses used as second homes or holiday lets, and gets no "visitors" or tourists.

The shops sell only country provisions and domestic goods. The village inns are where local men congregate and drink ale.

The villagers all have local roots, and they walk, horse ride or cycle to work, school and church.

Loose Chippings is twinned with Erehwon and Brigadoon.

Andy Rodker, kiiti, Typo93, ATAMA and 6 other people have particularly liked this photo
