Castle Combe, Wiltshire

Castle Combe, Wiltshire
Welcome to Britain's second most (the first being Bourton-on-the-Water) over-visited picture-postcard village. Even in Covid days, without the coachloads of tourists, and early on a weekday (when this was taken) it's impossible - the scene being constantly cluttered up with trippers - to get the classical, landscape view of the village from this spot.

Andy Rodker, Nouchetdu38, kiiti, Philippe Collard and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

i have never visited it, always being put off by the horror stories of zillions of day-trippers!
