Even so I have long wondered at the paradox of having met many many people in all walks of life, be it clients from all classes and nationalities and also a very diverse group of adult students - many thousands over the years - and I can't think of one of them that I wouldn't consider to be decent and sincere ... And yet what you say is also true.

I've been fortunate like you Andy to have met decent and sincere people. Unfortunately history and the news is littered with examples of the opposites. :(

Not about the future of ipernity but about our humanity beyond. You know that I agree with you but that, like you, I retain faith in humans and the life instinct that drives us/them...

Excelente trabajo y bellos deseos pero que no veremos cumplidos ni de lejos. El ser humano es muy torpe y aprende muy despacio. Qué simple sería si, en vez de ir como locos tras una felicidad individual, inexistente, nos preocuparamos más por la justicia social, por la eliminación de diferencias e injusticias, eso sí que nos daría momentos de felicidad y no el loco consumismo que difícilmente nos satisface y llena, nos lleva a luchas sociales y guerras y daña nuestro planeta. Somos muy tontos y en este sentido estoy llena de desesperanza.

Never give up hope!

Well done William. It is very sad and disappointing. Although I have never experienced such hatred first hand I have been shocked at the negative and hateful comments just under newsfeeds William and that is just one small example. If we could all just live without knowingly hurting anyone, either physically or mentally the world would be a nicer place.
