My visit to the Château de Chenonceau was a highlight from my trip to France in 2019. I like to photograph sculptures because they don’t move and they never complain that their photograph is not flattering!

and what a delightful statue and photo. in b&w the statue seems to belong more deeply to the space then it might in color.

You're up as late as I am! I was getting ready to sign off when I saw your message. I wasn't kidding about it being safer to photograph statues. The last time I took a photo of a girl friend she became depressed!

I have become a late night person who is trying to get to bed by midnight. I desire to be off the computer by 11pm - but obviously that isn't always the case! ipernity is addicting...
