Tower, Cheyenne Station

Taken at the train station in downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Union Pacific operates near here, including the "steam shop" for the historic locomotives.

The story is told that this station is positioned within the view just down the hill from the state capitol building. UP wanted the legislators of Wyoming to clearly see where the state's wealth was coming from.
