Wires

Wires
We always find it fascinating to look up in larger cities. In this case, Manila provided quite the "wired" view. Taken through a bus window, so there are reflections.

Image processed with GIMP.

I will add some information of my own. I have been told that the areas beneath the streets of New York City look like this, but far, far, worse. As in the example, when they needed to run more wire, they just add to the mass knot, without trying to unravel the existing mess. Having worked in several computer rooms, the area below the "raised floor" looks like this photo, too. It is rare that there is a complete removal and re-passing of the wiring. Why? Because the existing staff are afraid that they might cut or miss "that one wire" that runs the entire company.

I've seen this type of wire mass in Peru, as well. I've managed to take photos of this in many places during our travels.
