The first signs of spring!

Thanks for the visit, cammino. All it took was a few warm days ...

I always have a fear of dread for the poor things if (when, more likely) we get another wintry spell)! Fine shot though!

We already had a freeze spell ... the first flowers in my garden paid the price. They always do that: bloom too early and get zapped. I have yet to discover what the berries would look like :(

Muy bonito tono cálido. ¿Ya están ahí esos pulgones rojos? [pyrrhocoroidea] Por aquí no veo uno hace tiempo, yo creo que necesitan más calor. Donde vi incontables fue en Bordeaux a la orilla del Garona. Me gusta la presentación en especial la portada y el PiP 1.

Gracias, José. Si, son esos que mencionas. Nosotros les llamamos "carabineros" por qué parece que llevan uniformes negras y rojas. Aquí son entre los primeros bichos que se activan en la primavera. Que tengas una buena semana.

Thank you, HappySnapper. We call them "gendarmes" because it looks like they are wearing a rather martial looking red and black uniform. In English, I think they are called firebugs.
